A Gummy Vitamin a Day

Baby had his 18 month wellness check-up this morning and he's doing fantastic. He weighs more than 96% of other 18 month olds, his head is bigger (and therefore smarter) than 97% of other 18 month olds, and he is taller than 99% of other 18 month old babies. He gets an A++ for growth. He decided to pee on the table as we were waiting for the doctor. Fun! He was scared of the nurse and screamed at her quite a bit. Immunization shots were given, no tears shed. Victory.
Baby carries around his new baby putter (courtesy of his grandpa= Pop) and a golf ball. I'm really hoping he doesn't break a window with it. Just another day in the life of a pro baby golfer.
Very concerned that he can't reach the toy train that jets back and forth up high on the wall.
After the doctor made him open his mouth with a yucky wooden stick, he got some Toy Story stickers and Smarties.
Baby is down for a nap, the house is clean, and I wrote a new Oh Johnny! Girls' song yesterday. What is there left to do today? I suppose I could write another song or learn something. Band rehearsal is tonight at 7 and I'm very excited to hang out with my bandmates. We're getting to know the new drummer and he seems cool so far. It always feels weird playing with strangers at first but then they become part of the family.
Just got off the phone with Husband, checked on the sleeping baby, and set up my guitar stuff. Man, I'm a lucky girl.
xo, jp
