Full On Little Boy

Just some fun pics from the State Fair. I bathed Baby in hand sanitizer after we got him out of the ball pit- which took 2 grown adults. There was a lemonade incident that left him pantless. (he was already on his reserve pair of shorts) We ate cheese on a stick, fried green tomatoes, fries, and fried pickles. Husband also had gator on a stick. It was all delicious and nutritious, i'm sure.

Baby ain't got no shame.

Neither does Sonja, with her chocolate dipped banana. (i'm a child.)

We actually went 2 times- one with our friends and one with the baby. Here is Marisa being adorable.

Most of the boys in our posse.

And the girls. It was fun and almost everyone won a prize.

Baby carries this harp around most of the time. It's adorable. I'm very proud.

Bulletproof Tiger played a show a couple of weeks ago. It was rough! We haven't played in a few months but no excuses! It just sucked, there's really nothing else to say about it. We're going to record more but not sure about live shows. We just don't have the time to rehearse and all that junk.

Little Boy and his new boots. He loves them. He shows them off to people. He wants to wear them with everything. How do babies pull off boots with shorts? Fearless in fashion.

He can't eat that but he tries to sneak it anyway. He threw a fit shortly after.

Gave him a haircut this weekend. No bald spots this time!

Loves with watching Shrek and Shrek 2 in the car. He's also taken up singing. He makes up songs in his native baby language. His voice gets really soft and high and he raises his eyebrows. When he's done, he claps for himself, very proud.

A couple of friends dropped by for pizza, beer, and Sunday HBO last weekend.

going to the fair-knowing i would take all the photos of the night, i took one of myself.

more outfits.
going to a show.

Holy crap, this photo of me looks like my momma! Weekend errand running clothes.
Husband has been very busy with work lately. Glad to see him when he gets home.
Last week, an old buddy of his came to town and stayed the night with us. We met his darling girlfriend and had a great meal at Iron Starr and a great time chatting on the back porch. The next day I had a massage by Tanya Underwood. I cannot stress enough how awesome she is. It's the one thing that I like to do for myself- and for my back problems caused by toting around a 30 pound baby.
This weekend we: had a nice Friday night dinner with my in-laws, watched a french movie and drank green tea after Little Boy went to bed, visited my grandma in Edmond on Saturday morning, bought her a microwave and made her carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese icing, started cleaning the garage- it's going to be a long process, had a delicious dinner at The Wedge, went to our friends' to hang out, fell down in front of my friends while wearing 5 inch heels, had a lazy Sunday- cinnamon rolls, pjs, and movies all day long, Kris came over for dinner and Eastbound and Down, watched Boardwalk Empire, and went to bed. Good weekend all around.
Oh, we also went shopping for a nice chair for the living room and I ended up falling in love with a couch and a chair. Hmm. What to do... Not that anyone cares but the couch i found is beautiful and practical and comfortable. Thinking about buying it but not sure that I should. Decisions.
Have a nice week.
