I'm watching the Grammys now and almost had a seizure during Arcade Fire's performance. Seriously, why would you do that? I like them but how annoying.
Cowboy baby in the hat and boots his dad wore when he was little. Everyone asks where we got his boots- they're really cool- scuffed up, pointy, orangey brown. You can't buy boots that look that cool.

I'm so proud! My brothers were both accepted into UCLA Law and Laura (Johnny's girlfriend) was also accepted to UCLA. My mom came by today to bring the Baby a valentine and she said Will and Hannah (his wife) will be moving in 5 months or so. I guess I've just been in denial about this whole thing because it just hit me that they're leaving. I'm so sad. Ask my mom- I cried about it. (Will is 14 months older than me and i'm particularly close to him out of my other 5 siblings.) I'm so happy for them and trying to think about how fun it will be to visit.
My faux sister. We had a NYE party and my friend, JJ, was in from out of town. For years I've been mistaken for her- at the mall, out at bars, restaurants, and once at target.
Anna, Anna, and Annah.
Jack plays at Sunglass Hut.
Last weekend, Husband and I went to the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Catoosa to see Dwight Yoakam. We had the best time.
Yesterday, we got the Baby up and around and headed over to a friend's house. We brought over stuff to make brunch and it was delicious and so fun. Brunch every weekend is a fantastic idea.
Happy hour at The Library yesterday made me so excited for consistent springtime weather!
Husband and I went out, just the two of us, last night. We had dinner and drinks and I had a really nice time. This will be our 3rd Valentine's Day together. I can't believe we've already been married almost 3 years- it seems like it's gone by so quickly yet seems like I've known him forever. I can't really remember what my life was like before. Definitely not as fantastic as it is now. We were going to get all dressed up and go to a fancy dinner and that whole deal but decided we'd keep it low-key instead. Not that I don't like fancy dates- I do, but it was nice to go out for a relaxing, unstuffy date. Of course we didn't get a picture together. Sigh.
And meanwhile...
Baby went to spend time with a pony and a pretend chainsaw. So serious!
Shorts!!! It was so nice out today! Too bad I was a little hungover. Supposed to be pretty awesome all week.
Well, Happy Valentine's Day! I'm taking the baby to visit my grandma and then we'll be at home baking cupcakes in the afternoon and having sushi at home with Husband in the evening. Wine with Kelli Smart on Tuesday, Bulletproof Tiger rehearsal on Wednesday, my sister's birthday party on Friday, and taking Husband and fellow Tiger, David, to see Broken Social Scene in Tulsa on Sunday for their birthdays. I think it's going to be a lovely week.
