Relator

Lately I've had plenty of motivation to get things done, write songs, work out, cook, find new things to do, new music to listen to, new places for the Boy and I to explore during the week, etc. Of course as soon as this drive kicked in, I got sick. Sooooo sick. Fever, chills, coughing, hacking, headaches, sore throat, and dying in general. The crap is going around, y'all. It's been two weeks and two days since it started and I'm finally feeling 98% better. My kid was very concerned for a couple of days, bringing me kleenex and patting me on the head. Very sweet.
I'm wanting to get out and about today so I'll keep this post to photos. The Boy's 2nd birthday was this past weekend and I will post those pictures soon.
The Oh Johnny! Girls photos by Matt Rosebery. (late at night, outside in the cold, with a few whiskey drinks for us all.) We were featured in Oklahoma Magazine with an article by Meika Yates Hines. Click HERE to go to her website and read our story.

I've been taking my real camera (Nikon D300) out a lot more lately. I did some engagement photos for Shane and Taylor a little while back.

They used one of the black and white photos i did for their reception invitation. I think they turned out really cute but I wasn't quite sure if they liked them or not. I know I froze my ass off taking them though!
Annah Ramsey is a jewelry designer friend of mine- her website should be up soon, i think. I did a little jewelry modeling for her line, Mango Tree. I'll post some photos from that session soon. Below is a long, moldable piece that you can make into a necklace, bracelet, belt, or head piece. They are really, really cool! I need to buy one the next time I'm in okc. It's called the Medusa, I believe. This is a pic I took on my phone of the other Anna- she stopped by during the shoot and I had to put this on her.

Baby's new jean jacket is really awesome. I can't wait for it to warm up a little so he can wear it out.
Sunday, Husband and I had a quick lunch at The Wedge on Western. I love The Vedge pizza. We also had a red beer and a caesar. It was so freaking good! * I've been following the Tracy Anderson Method and this wasn't exactly on my diet but after a 2 year old birthday party, I deserved a treat. I love Tracy Anderson, just so you know. I love her workouts and her attitude. And she's just so darn cute! I want to be cute.

Our server was awesome and we will be going back very soon. I think my dad would like this place. I've never taken him there but think I might.

I got my hair cut a few weeks ago and my bangs are super grown out now. Not sure if i'm going to grow them out again or cut them. To chop or not to chop... So I've been wearing my hair pulled back in a pony tail or swooshed up like the pic above.

Baby frontman.

At his 2 year check-up. They gave him one look and declared him the cutest, most healthy baby on the planet. They said he's big for his age but very proportionate so it's not like he's a fat baby or anything. The faces he's making in the two photos is very much my mom. I wish I had photos of her as a baby to compare.

I will go now. I have a baby to bathe and adventures to seek.
xo,
♥ jp
