Fall is coming.

Sitting on the back porch, at my dining room table.

Carpets cleaned and stretched today make me feel like an adult.

Sounds of backyard trees swaying in the heavy wind sound like ocean waves.

Pinot Noir tastes delicious when it's cool outside.

Wearing Husband's red plaid button down.

(And sweat pants, of course.)

Missing my brothers and my sisters.

(All of you.)

Baby sound asleep in his big boy bed.

Nails freshly painted.

Resisting the urge to play guitar.

Thinking of my Jackson cat everyday.

Headlights on the highway make me wonder where they're headed.

Sad my brothers are tucked away in L.A. but happy I get my mom all to myself.

Been TAMing hard this week and it feels good.

That sounds like alien talk.

Relaxing outside, next to trees and listening to nature, comforts me.

Remembering everyday that there is a big universe out there.

Excited to play music in Tulsa on Friday.

Excited to have silly time with my bandmates and Husband.

Baby rolled out of his big boy bed and ran into the living room crying.

He's fine, not hurt from the half a foot roll off the big boy bed but he's shaken.

Very shaken.

Current status:  tucked away in the middle of "mama dada bed," eating a cracker and enjoying "Anger Birds."

aka- the movie Rio.

My current status:  So happy to be a mommy.
