Kiss me, I'm Irish.

Last Friday, my little brother and his girlfriend flew in from NYC to spend their spring break in Oklahoma.  So, this weekend we've hung out with family quite a bit.  Baby has had a great time!  I think he thinks my brother's girlfriend is his new girlfriend!  He likes to hand her toys and look at photo albums with her.  She lets him turn the pages.  Friday night, dinner at mom's.  Saturday night, dinner at Yamato for my big brother's birthday.  This was Baby's first time at a hibachi grill and when the guy twirled and banged his knives around, it scared Baby and Baby screamed and his little hands held onto me tight.  It scared him into being good for a while.  I was more worried for my mom-  she had never seen Baby so scared before and was concerned.
Little Brother and Girlfriend bought Baby a long sleeve American Apparel shirt that say's "Anarchy in the Pre-K."  He wore it with his little navy blazer and his worn in Gap jeans.  Did you know that you can buy distressed baby jeans at the Gap?  I think that's funny.  Baby distressed these himself  though-  he started wearing them when we was still crawling everywhere.  Now he's running.
Little Brother and Girlfriend at a show at the Conservatory in OKC.
Bulletproof Tiger broke up and, long story short, fixed things.  Creative differences solved.  This is David.  He's going to start playing with us.
This was Saturday night.  We learned a few songs with David.  There will be switching instruments and whatnot.  A little organ, a little piano, a little harmonica, some guitar.
Monday night, my big brother played a show with the legendary Kid Congo Powers.  I kept thinking the show was in April so I had to find a babysitter at the last minute.  A friend of mine came over and played with Baby and put him to bed.  He's never had a  babysitter before so we were worried he would terrorize her but he had fun playing and was very good from what i hear.  THANK YOU KELLI!  Dinner is on us very soon.  Oh and I need to get your dishes back to you!  I've only seen you a million times since you brought them over.
My brother, Willie V, and I with Kid Congo.  He asked if we were mexicans.  No, native american, but close enough.  The light makes us all look green and it's gross but this picture will have to do.
Oh yeah, Happy St. Patrick's day!  Baby is hanging out in Healdton with family today and I'm n ot sure what I should be doing.  So far I've done some laundry and worked out.  Trying to decide if I want to start working on my backyard or if I want to find someone to go have a green beer with.  Problem is-  all of my friends are now grown ups and have real jobs so probably can't do early day drinking with me.  And honestly, starting the backyard sounds a little more fun to me anyway.  Wow.
