Baby Jack got a new hat this week. He was eager to show it off at school.
We were running late but there's always time to take a few pics. He was very satisfied with his outfit.


This is what Jack looks like when I let him wear whatever he wants. He loves those rainboots and wants to wear them everyday.
Husband took Jack and I to The Garage for burgers, a little grilled cheese, and fries. It was delicious. Husband is now in love with bleu cheese- he's been very anti-bleu cheese since I've known him so it's exciting. I love love love bleu cheese. The kids meal comes with a little package of Cheez-its and Jack decided he likes his dipped in ketchup.
The Baby is spending t0night with Husband's parents and sisters. His baby cousin, Peyton, is in town and I know they're having a great time. I miss my baby though. I've been looking at pictures of him all day- I can't help myself. Husband and I went out to dinner at O Asian Fusion and then came home and watched a little basketball and half of a bad movie. We can be so lame sometimes!
I've had these jeans for years and used to get weird looks from people and NOW every girl asks me where I got them. Man, I hope I don't look like a Jessica-Simpson-in-unflattering-high-waisted-pants-disaster.
Um, this skirt was like $17, maybe $15, I can't remember. CHEAP! Love.
Yes. Thigh high suede boots. Why? I don't know. Ridiculous? Yes and I like them. Am I too old to wear stuff like this? Probably but who cares.

Going to pick that baby up from school.

I've been really good about working out everyday so I felt I deserved a treat. It was good and I don't regret it. I never regret eating tasty food. I eat very healthy 80% of the time so it's a good balance.
Off to baby school he goes! He's been so sweet lately. So helpful too! He's talking more every day, it's cray cray.
Thursday, Husband took me to Cocktails on the Skyline at the OKC Museum of Art. I love summertime and I love skyline dates. We ran into one of Husband's old friends and I had the best time with his wife. We talked about vacations, our husbands and our kids.

When I picked Jack up from school, he had a surprise for me! You don't understand how much I love LOVE this. My mom said it's almost like my first Mother's Day- and she's right! I've never gotten anything he's made specifically for me. I think it's my favorite gift ever. The flower is a pen too. Cute! When we got home, he carried it in for me and wanted it to go on the kitchen counter. The proud look on his pretty face was priceless. This could get really sappy so I'll quit talking about it now.

My dear friends, Dave and Darcy had a perfect baby girl late Wednesday night. Baby Lydia. She will make appearances in this blog regularly once she gets home and they get settled in and up to speed on all things baby! They are absolutely the sweetest people I know and Lydia is so fortunate to have them as parents. Dave has sent me a few pictures and she is so pretty it's unreal! She like a pretty movie baby. (Dave will know what I mean.)

Tomorrow we're up early to visit my grandma and then off to Husband's cousin's track meet. My birthday dinner with my mama and brother at 5pm and then going to my brother's one man band show. I'm excited to see him play- it's been a really long time.

Packing and shopping for our Vegas Vacation. Finding a house/dog/cat sitter. Needing a mani/pedi. Needing eyebrows waxed. Needing massage! Hoping my hair stylist can fit me in sometime before we leave. Needing sun and margaritas. Needing fun girl time with my bff, Anna. Needing sleep now.
